Sky explorer

Hipparcos (ESA) stars to V 6.3, Stellarium figures, planets from JPL’s Keplerian elements (good to a few arcminutes between 1800 and 2050). Trails span ±120 days, so retrograde loops show up. The dashed gold line marks the ecliptic (J2000), Earth’s orbital plane projected onto the sky. A small JavaScript companion to starfield.
